Freestyle Floral Designs - We include instructions on how to make many modern floral designs. Once you have completed the lessons you will then be able to create your own artistic freestyle designs.

Floristry Tips and Techniques - throughout the course we will share hundreds of helpful tips, techniques and the secrets that florists use.
 

  All Materials Supplied

We provide all materials for each term such as bowls, baskets, gift box, corsage and presentation box, floral foam, bases, ribbons, cellophane, bouquet holders, cards, wire and floral tape. Ample materials are provided to complete each lesson successfully. Fresh flowers are not included with the materials as you would appreciate, these would not last. You don't need to use expensive flowers - we include a list of suitable flowers you can use for each lesson. If you prefer you can use silk flowers for your lessons and you will then have a permanent sample of each design.

About The Course - The course was developed by Floral Art School of Australia with over 45 years experience in the Floristry industry. The course is suitable if you are interested in becoming involved in the floristry industry or for your own enjoyment.The course has been specially designed so it is very easy to follow and includes a large floristry manual with step-by-step lessons with lots of diagrams and a colour photo of each pactical lesson. You will also receive a password for student access to the online videos for each practical lesson so you will see the design actually being made. You e-mail or post photos of your practical lessons and Fay Chamoun, the Principal will work with you personally and comment on your progress and offer helpful suggestions if needed.

  • How to create wonderful floral designs for Mother’s day, St Valentine’s day, Christmas, Easter and other special occasions and events.

Profits are high, much higher than in many other businesses. The profit margin on make-up work such as a bowl, basket and funeral tributes is often 200% or more and much higher for bridal designs.

Completion Time
Each student has up to 18 months to complete the full course of three terms  but you can complete it in less time than this as you work at your own pace. If circumstances occur you may apply for an extension of time to complete the course. 
Advanced Certificate Of Floristry
